Glulam beams are strong, engineered timber components made by bonding layers of wood together with a durable adhesive. They offer high strength, stability, and resistance to warping, making them suitable for structural applications such as roof supports, floor beams, and exposed architectural features. Available in a range of sizes and profiles, they provide a reliable alternative to steel or solid timber while maintaining a natural wood finish.

The price above is per beam. Lead time 5-10 working days from point of ordering.
🪽 Lightweight: Compared to steel and concrete, glulam is relatively lightweight, reducing transportation costs and making it easier to handle on site.

💷 Cost-effective: Compared with steel, glulam is often more cost-effective. You can add the beams above to your basket to build a quote online in just a few minutes.

🌳 Sustainable: Glulam is a largely renewable material, and its production process generates less carbon dioxide compared to steel and concrete, making it an eco-friendly option for construction.

💪 Strong: Glulam is engineered to support heavy loads, making it a suitable material for large structures like bridges, roofs and beams. It also has high resistance to bending and can handle heavy stresses.
Glulam (Glued Laminated Timber) is a versatile and durable engineered wood product, ideal for structural applications in both residential and commercial construction. Made by bonding layers of high-quality timber with strong adhesives, glulam beams provide superior strength and stability compared to traditional timber. With its ability to span long distances without the need for additional support, glulam is perfect for beams, trusses and columns. As an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to steel, glulam offers design flexibility, superior load-bearing capacity and enhanced aesthetic appeal. Order glulam beams online today for fast delivery in 5-10 working days.
We have some of the best toys in the industry. We have invested over £2.5M in our brand new facility and have used almost 20 years of manufacturing experience to ensure it does exactly what we want. It’s the secret to turning your project around in as little as 5 days, no matter what the complexity. We run two Hundegger saws from Germany. These saws are truly incredible, allowing us to cut the timber for your project at an astonishing pace whilst achieving pin-point accuracy. The saws are fed directly from our design office and will optimise the use of every length of timber for minimal waste. Similarly to trusses, the timber components are cut and moved to one of our posi presses. Our skilled assemblers will then set out the timbers of your posi joist on the press. The timbers are then clamped by the press to ensure they are perfectly straight and the correct depth is maintained. The steel webs are then accurately positioned in place and pressed, completing the posi-joist.

We source all of our glulam from sustainably managed spruce forests in northern Sweden. The region's sawmills adhere to strict forestry practices that ensure long-term sustainability. Additionally, the colder climate in northern Sweden promotes slower tree growth, resulting in denser, more durable timber that enhances the strength and weather resistance of the final product.
